Snowmobiles have come a long way in recent years. They are now quieter, more efficient and more fun than ever. We exclusively use late model snowmobiles so our customers always have the most current technology and extremely high reliability. We also give you a free tank of gas and oil for each day you rent a snowmobile.
What to Bring – Snowmobile Tours & Rentals
Please come prepared with the following:
- Driver’s License (physical copy) – required to drive
- National Park Pass (physical copy) if you have one
- Camera / binoculars
- Reusable water bottle & snacks
- Prescriptions (if needed)
- Sunglasses & sunscreen
- Small backpack
We offer snowmobile suits, boots, gloves, and DOT-approved helmets for rent at $5 per item or $20 for a full outfit.
Already have your own gear? You’re welcome to bring it—our team will check it upon arrival to ensure it’s suitable for conditions.
Backcountry Adventures also offers guided trips in Yellowstone Park and the Gallatin National Forest with daily trips to Old Faithful or the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone (on Thursday’s) that feature environmentally friendly snowmobiles.
